TMOSPHERE is a project of extraordinary class. An international architecture competition was specifically initiated for this purpose, in which the design by the internationally acclaimed architect Hadi Teherani, who grew up in Hamburg, convinced everyone. He focuses on relaxation and deceleration through a reduced color selection, purist design, and organic forms to emphasize the unique Genius Loci of Leogang. Teherani states that architecture itself has always been there and just needs to be recognized. In Leogang, he created an architectural gem that submits to the natural surroundings, yet remains present. The landscape and all four elements are impressively embraced and integrated here.

The heart of the ATMOSPHERE is the spacious, bright, and friendly hospitality area located on its western side with a direct view of the lake. This is also where the building’s real highlight is hidden: Thanks to HIRT kinetics® retractable fronts, the glass façade can disappear completely into ground at a length of more than 22 meters. Interior and exterior become one at the touch of a button. In fact, this illusion is so perfect that even the cable car going up the Leogang Mountains on the far side of the lake seems to be just within reach.
